The Department of Psychology at Claremont McKenna College offers a broad curriculum towards the study and understanding of human and social processes. Psychology students enjoy a wide range of fields in which to study, including clinical, developmental, organizational, social, political, and experimental psychology. Additionally, consistent with CMC's emphasis on public affairs, courses have been developed to demonstrate the application of psychology to current social issues and public policy.
Because CMC is a member of The Claremont Colleges, faculty and students have the ability to utilize the combined resources of the colleges located here in Claremont, California. Students are strongly encouraged to and often develop close, consultative relationships with faculty members.
